“great stay”
we stayed one night before a flight home - the room was great, the shuttle to the airport was very convenient and the staff very helpful - left a charger and they made arrangements to get it back to us! We will use again when we go to Phoenix. thanks.

“So convenient”
I always have a great stay at this Howard Johnson's. The staff is friendly and efficient. Thank you Andy for remembering me and my preferences. I can travel with confidence when I stay here.

“Best value for low-end hotels around PHX”
I've flown out of PHX many times and have tried a lot of the low to mid-range hotels around the area that offer extended parking and free shuttle (60-90$/night).
For the price, Howard Johnson beats them all by a mile. Sure, the rooms are outdated, but the AC blows cold, the beds are clean and comfortable, the bathroom is clean, shower is hot with good pressure, the free wi-fi is fast and the shuttle is on time. There's very little to complain about, considering how low the price is. Front desk staff Amanda was very friendly, great service as well.
Will look forward to booking again when I fly out of PHX.

“Good value for money. Clean, neat, good service, friendly staff, good breakfast."
I called the hotel from the airport info desk (I had to spend the night in Phoenix due to a bad flight connection), liked their rates and the free shuttle service they offered and decided to stay the night. I was pleasantly surprised. The rooms were spacious, tasteful and equipped with all commodities. Everything was neat and clean. Checking in and out was easy, as was getting to and from the airport. The room was quiet, the bed comfortable and breakfast was more like a buffet and better than expected. All in all I was pleasantly surprised. Even when I contacted the hotel manager a few days later to request a copy of my receipt (which I had lost), the manager was extremely helpful and accommodating. I'd definitely stay here again.

“Greatest experience ever”
It was a great experience to stay at this motel. The staff was excellent and very helpful. Specially the Indian gentleman and another lady at the reception were excellent. The motel is at perfect location and there is a bus stop right across the motel. Airport shuttle comes here every hour. The rooms were nice and clean.The breakfast area opens right on time every morning. You can see mountains from the second floor of the motel. The train station is at the walking distance and it takes you to downtown and several other locations. Overall this was an amazing experience. I was there continuously for three weekends and I did not even think about going to some other motel. If somebody is flying to Phoenix than I would surely recommend this motel for stay.

“Cost performance is very good.”
The room I stayed this time was the same I stayed last month. I have already figured out how to use the microwave oven a little less cheerful. City water of Phoenix is not tasty, and a filled bottle of water for drinking is very much appreciated, or is sold in the lobby.

“Historic Property is one of our favorite places to stay”
We have stayed here several times in the past year, and have always experienced thoughtful and courteous service. The breakfast bar is complete, with a large variety of selections. We particularly enjoy the malted Belgian waffles. The free airport shuttle service is simply the very best, being fast and efficient, and running 24 hours daily. Parking is easy, accessible, and ample. The only reason we do not give this property and excellent rating is because there is no self service guest laundry facility on property. During our stays, we have always had the opportunity to mingle with the other guests over breakfast, as well as at the service desk and in the lobby, and have always noticed these guests to be really enjoying their stay at this property.
